    Plymouth beano

well its as simple as this

took a train ride to plymouth, wembury to be precise, to visit a friend.
it got very messy, but did manage to get out and see some scenery, take some pics.
quite a nice part of the world

this is where the train from here took me

after a mad scramble through the london underground to paddington, i boarded a train going to these places

i had competely forgot about a certain big festival in the someset area, so the train was jam packed with festival heads until castle cary.
here they are getting off just as it started to rain
    ketamine-only fools and horses

after a smooth ride into Plymouth with a few of these to ease the way

my buddy Mark met me at the station, and a few hours of catching up and craziness ensued and George the boxer ate my sock

Where are the photos from the train? Expecially the Exeter to Newton Abbot stretch. Down the river Exe, along the coast, and up the river Teign. Beautiful.

after a hearty breakfast in a local cafe on a hill overlooking the sea, we went to a few of the towns more salubriuos places in the union street area

no pics of the local brass sorry about that
but this guy seemed to have had his fair share

after taking a drive round plymouth central we retired to the village pub in wembury called the odd wheel

Never mind. It's a good trip to do in day light if you get the chance.
Did you get a bit of a trip up the river?
Captain Jaspers sandwiches on the Barbican? Splendid kit. I'm quite home sick.

Yes, a bit. I used to sail out of QAB and had a lot of good times all round the area. It's changed a lot but some of the old pubs are still going strong. I hope to get back at the end of July for a few weeks. Nice photos well done.
A mate of mine did a few gigs there (ex Armada band) Some good nights.
