| Where do you go to my lovely? ![]() She had to stop at the lights, I noticed she had got on the wrong bike, her boy-friend too. I wonder if they changed over at different points of the ride. I'm simply passing the time of day. ![]() Dutchy here looked like he should have been in Amsterdam. In the Port of Amsterdam That reminds me. Strong words here if you want to swallow them. In the port of Amsterdam There's a sailor who sings Of the dreams that he brings From the wide open sea In the port of Amsterdam There's a sailor who sleeps While the river bank weeps To the old willow tree In the port of Amsterdam There's a sailor who dies Full of beer, full of cries In a drunken town fight In the port of Amsterdam There's a sailor who's born On a hot muggy morn By the dawn's early light In the port of Amsterdam Where the sailors all meet There's a sailor who eats Only fish heads and tails And he'll show you his teeth That have rotted too soon That can haul up the sails That can swallow the moon And he yells to the cook With his arms open wide "Hey, bring me more fish Throw it down by my side" And he wants so to belch But he's too full to try So he stands up and laughs And he zips up his fly In the port of Amsterdam You can see sailors dance Paunches bursting their pants Grinding women to porch They've forgotten the tune That their whiskey voice croaked Splitting the night With the roar of their jokes And they turn and they dance And they laugh and they lust Till the rancid sound of the accordion bursts And then out of the night With their pride in their pants And the sluts that they tow Underneath the street lamps In the port of Amsterdam There's a sailor who drinks And he drinks and he drinks And he drinks once again He'll drink to the health Of the whores of Amsterdam Who've given their bodies To a thousand other men Yeah, they've bargained their virtue Their goodness all gone For a few dirty coins Well he just can't go on Throws his nose to the sky And he aims it up above And he pisses like I cry On the unfaithful love Don't scan those words, read them. ![]() Fantastic Streets. ![]() I wonder who paints the sky so blue Who paints the snowflakes white Who wakes the sun up every day And lights the stars at night. ![]() All that and more by the time you get to constructuion of this calibre. ![]() Oh my Lord. Nobody can visualise such beauty as these photographs show. But out on the street.. You got a lotta nerve To say you are my friend When I was down You just stood there grinning You got a lotta nerve To say you got a helping hand to lend You just want to be on The side that's winning You say I let you down You know it's not like that If you're so hurt Why then don't you show it You say you lost your faith But that's not where it's at You had no faith to lose And you know it I know the reason That you talk behind my back I used to be among the crowd You're in with Do you take me for such a fool To think I'd make contact With the one who tries to hide What he don't know to begin with You see me on the street You always act surprised You say, "How are you?" "Good luck" But you don't mean it When you know as well as me You'd rather see me paralyzed Why don't you just come out once And scream it No, I do not feel that good When I see the heartbreaks you embrace If I was a master thief Perhaps I'd rob them And now I know you're dissatisfied With your position and your place Don't you understand It's not my problem I wish that for just one time You could stand inside my shoes And just for that one moment I could be you Yes, I wish that for just one time You could stand inside my shoes You'd know what a drag it is To see you Check it out on U Tube.. Positiveley 4th Street:- Dylan. Magic...

| Students are kind of special in my book. The Historical tales of booze and youth for instance. Watch this connection. Then listen carefully as the voice of Lanza comes into being after he slides 'The Stein' down the table. Magic. YouTube - Drink! THE STUDENT PRINCE (the same yes) 1 min 58 sec - 7 Nov 2007 - I think Lanza was gifted with the voice of a 'God' Spectacular. ![]() Places like Oxford accentuate the positiveness of true youth. ![]() A perfection in our existence. ![]() I had a reasonable education. That in no way means I think I am any more talented than the next man in the queue. But the levels of Oxford and such in the UK are phenomenal. We had a pot of tea in the garden area by the Uni as shown above. The tray is on the left by the wall. A good memory. ![]() You cannot invent scenes like this. That particular Gargoyle is really telling the 'Evil One' to keep the .... out of there. If you value you're existence, as much as I value my Church Stay The .... away buddy. Lanza by the way. Mario Lanza, was about 38 years old when he died. ![]() Scenes like this and voices like his are irreplaceable,. Saints abound. ![]() Fantastic.. Last edited by Mathos : 07-06-2009 at 05:26 AM. |

| Then drive away for a short while. There's a certain tranquility, only water can give to the soul. ![]() Magic. ![]() Special.. ![]() It is rather beautiful. I was just wondering though. Like you do when you come across aeroplanes being pulled to pieces in the middle of fields. ![]() What are you doing here? |

Our first home was only £2,200..00 and we had to take a twenty five year mortgage on that with Hastings and Thanet at £17.19.6d per calendar month repayments. It was hard to find some months as well. How times change. A Jowett Javelin Happyman. ![]() They were a superb looking motor car. Extremely distinctive as well in their day. You paid good money for a motor car as well in those days. Well done.

I'm very careful as to who I would let remove a wheel on my cars Nietzsche. I always check the wheel nuts myself after, when I was on accident recovery, there was many an accident caused by road wheels coming off vehicles.

| Thailand Travel Forum | ^^^ The Jowett Javelin was an award-winning British car that was produced from 1947 to 1953 by Jowett Cars Ltd of Idle, near Bradford. The model went through five variants labelled PA to PE, each having a standard and "de luxe" option. The car was designed by Gerald Palmer during World War II and was intended to be a major leap forward following the relatively staid designs of pre-war Jowetts. The flat four overhead valve engine of 1486 cc with a compression ratio of 7.2:1 was water-cooled and had an aluminium block and wet cylinder liners. It developed 50 bhp (37 kW) at 4100 rpm (52.5 bhp in the case of the PE) giving the car a maximum speed of 77 mph (124 km/h) and a 0-50 mph (80 km/h) time of 13.4 seconds. [2] Two Zenith carburettors were fitted and PA and PB versions had hydraulic tappets. The radiator was behind the engine. A four speed gearbox with column change was used. Early cars had gearboxes made by the Henry Meadows company, whilst the remainder of the cars had gearboxes made by Jowett themselves. The decision to make the gearboxes in house proved to be a costly mistake for Jowett.[4] Design features included aerodynamic styling with the headlights faired into the wings and, for the time, a steeply sloped, curved windscreen. The body was of pressed steel, incorporating a box-section chassis and was made for Jowett by Briggs Motor Bodies in their Doncaster factory. The suspension used torsion-bars on all wheels (independent at the front) and internal gear-and-pinion steering. PA and PB models had mixed Girling hydraulic brakes at the front and mechanical braking at the rear. Later versions were fully hydraulic. The car had a wheelbase of 102 inches (2,600 mm) and a track of 51 inches (1,300 mm). Overall the car was 14 feet (4.3 m) long, 5 feet (1.5 m) wide and weighed about 1 (Imperial) ton (depending on model and year). The car was expensive costing GBP819 at launch. [1] A de-luxe saloon version tested by The Motor magazine in 1953 had a top speed of 82.4 mph (132.6 km/h) and could accelerate from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 20.9 seconds. A fuel consumption of 29.1 miles per imperial gallon (9.71 L/100 km; 24.2 mpg-US) was recorded. The test car cost £1207 including taxes. [3] Just over 23,000 units were produced. Nice car indeed - I used mine for pulling a trailer with my bikes on to race meetings !! 350 Gold star - 50cc Itom - 500cc Manx !! Sold it to my mate when I had to get a bigger trailer when I started racing sidecars !! The more entries you had at a meeting the better [at] 10 pounds a class if you qualified and did at least 1 lap in the race !!! My mates son now has it - absolute concours condition and is a leading light in the Jowett owners club !!! Replaced it with a beetleback Standard Vanguard with a Massey Fergeson engine - handled like a pregnant pig -flat out at 60 mph but would pull a house down with the torque !!! ![]() |
