    It's bleak in Leek

Golliwog cups, charity shops, antique shops all catering for the OAP population, Confirmed Leek is God's waiting room and the most boring town in England.

Two hours was more than enough time to explore this historic market town in the heart of Staffordshire.

At least the shoes were Oxfords not Derby's...

The telephone box should be charged for being drunk on duty.

It's a a bit dead around those parts of the town, in fact the whole town.
Appears they've had a problem with grave robbers and necrophilia, on account of the towns vicinity to Stoke.

    Fooking wronguns those oatcake munchers.

The vicar is a munchkin, look at the size of that door.

It's 25oC and suitable liquid refreshment is sought in order to endure this godforsaken place. ..

Dogs in abundance and not one brown bullet to dodge, where's the beer???

    Looks promising. .

Had enough of the goblins, munchkins and dodging the mobility scooters.
Time for a quick sorte and evacuation..

A boring brummie b'stard tranvestite who kept scratching his crotch whilst dusting his shop full of Jackie Collins paperbacks kept following us around the shop..

    Leek Town FC

Sat in the VIP prawn sandwich seats. .

An interesting tree adjacent to a infamous and nefarious dogging lane. .

    Leeks historic knackered mill

A couple of stools that the owner wouldn't part with and I couldn't run off with the heavy fookers quick enough. .

Local fruit and veg is cheap and they carry dogs in bags, in fact I can safely say this is one doggy town..

They've a got a gold medal postbox for dogging..

    A few random building pics..

If you're over 65, have a fondness for dogs then Leek is the place for you!

If dogging with some mobility issues is not an issue, then Leek is the place for you!

If you don't mind hibernating for 9 months of the year then Leek is the place for you!

Carn't imagine this place in Winter when it's raining,no wonder all the youth piss off as soon as their old enough.

    Sorry Leek, you're shit!

I'd heard Leek was supposed to be nice so took the long way round last summer when out for a spin in the car that contains no hairdressers products on way to Buxton, stopped somewhere for lunch and had a walk round but to say I was underwhelmed would be an exaggeration.

Seem to recall having relatives around there back in the 60's. Dad drove us down there in the Austin A40
