Chitty's Valentines Day 10 pubs and 10 pints onit like a car bonnet picture thread.

Love is in the air or is it lust??

Let's have a day out and explore 10 off the beaten unusual pubs in the northern city of Manchester, UK.

On the right we have the Etihad Stadium home to the finest football team in the world...

On the left we have the city skyline..

Time for a quicky before we head into the fray..

A bit of street art on the side road near the station..

2nd pint at Sinclairs, the first gentleman's club in the City...

Gotta be carefull inside the ceiling is only 6 feet high.

A couple of random pics of the city centre

Chinese lanterns everywhere, anybody would think it's Chinese new year week .

A few more random city centre pictures..

Stopped off at this red Rag boozer that has world's biggest collection of George Best pics on the walls over three storeys, he's also on the the chimney!
Nice little boozer with a roof terrace, funny thing is there's a boozer a few streets away exactly the same but Bluckily and called the Waldorf.
Both are famous northern soul/Mod venues...

A pic from inside the world's smallest bar with the biggest welcome. Only had two pumps and 1 metre bar top and half a dozen seats..
    .

Things are starting to get hazy now, so on with the show...

    Onit

Looks like you had a good time, Chitty. Pity the focus ring on your camera is buggered.

Corbieres does a bit of Mexican scran or it is a Mexican gaff these days?

Used to have the best jukebox in town.

Btw, worst skyline pic of town ever.

It's still Corbieres with the juke box, some things never change.
Which is a good thing coz most of the city has changed beyond recognition from 20 years ago.
Best thing the IRA did blowing it up.

On the wagon after a marathon part 2 in a different area of the city...

The cafe in this building all called the clink, all the staff are female ex prisoners.

On photo taking mode now, takes my mind of the blue pill I've taken 20 minutes ago and the subsequent affects
Not that I need it, just took it for the craic..

    Pun not intended

    Another old vs new day..

Let's check out this new battle cruiser across the road that's heaving with Friday afternoon totty. .

    Weird staircase..

A few Blue Moons later and we're off on walkabout..

The Venice of the North is this fine city.

Plenty of new buildings popping up every week..

    Time for another pit stop..

You can bunk up with Hal and my dog in our caravan, it's got sky TV and all mod cons.

Free pizza delivery from my emporium for TD members

Gotta have something to line your stomach for an all day session and a trip to the Etihad..
