How to post a new tread under "home".

Can someone inform me of the above. At this point I only seem to respond on treads which is a limitation..

Just go to this page TeakDoor.com - The Thailand Forum for Travel, Lifestyle and Fun. and click on the "New Thread" button in the appropriate category or sub-category.

Edit: Sub-category is actually called Sub-Forum.

You cannot start a thread directly onto the portal (home) page,
you must enter a forum and post it there.

Admin controls what appears on the portal page

OK, got it, thanks. So somewhere, someone (Jomtien?) is deciding which cut and paste piece of local or UK part of a newspaper we may react to. It does appear that certain cut and pasters (Dr. Strange Love, MID and other regulars) have his preferences (the buddy system?). I do not envy his job of going, (seriously what a time consuming job) through all the posts to see what is "news worthy" to put on the home page.

OK in order to put a more positive "face" on the home page we have to hope and pray "admin" to have the same opinion that is. OK lets see

PS Actually not doing a bad job, however,......

Ah, I see. Patangko wants to edit the front page of the forum to reflect what he thinks is important. The only options there are to either buy the forum from DD, start his own forum, or for him to hack the system and reprogram the front page to display only posts he approves of.

Nothing to do with the buddy system.

I thought the little man in the wheel was to keep the bits flowing down the tubes and that the reason TD was sometimes slow was because he'd gone for a smoke
