How is that when I posted a certain link a while ago I got dumped into the TD jail for several weeks while last night another poster posted exactly the same link and, while the link was deleted - as it was with mine, nothing happened with him?

My jailing was a while back now, BG. I just want to know how come I got locked up for about 6 weeks while somebody else, who posted exactly the same thing I did, got a pass.

And the answer to your question is because it's down to the subjective whims of the admin/mods. I've been jailed a few times; some deservedly and with no dispute, other times I've gotten the distinct impression that they were because a few of the powers that be have an axe to grind with me.

That's debateable though, open to subjective interpretation in itself. What isn't though is that some posters are more likely to have posts binned and/or MKP'ed than others, even for exactly the same content.

It was, yes. And yet exactly the same link from a poster last night was deleted, as was my post although I still spent about 2 months in jail, and yet the poster is still posting now. Go figure???

6 weeks was a bit harsh, but an example had to be made
