    Teakdoor and blackberries

I've been messing around with using teakdoor via smartphones.
At first I wasn't convinced since it is a bit slow but since I'm at the sailing club
There is no internet I have no choice if I want to feed my teakdoor addiction

Firstly the blackberry can only show one page at a time so no swapping between tabs therefore it is vital
That the page loads as fast as possible
The page looks exactly like teakdoor on compouter pics, layout, colour scheme and ads
But it is minature, I need to zoom twice to read the text and select new posts button

Firstly I open user cp and turn off all avatars, sigs and images, but DD can we turn off all ads for smart phones pls?

Facebook has a download facebook application for smart phones, u still have an option to use it the normal webpage
But can use a reduced function and reduced graphics page.

I can select the quote button but not multiquotes button
I can see images I can copy n paste an image address but cannot upload my own images to the coppoermine gallery
We need a dedicated upload image button in the coppermine gallery cos the blackberry does not
Have the option appear when u hover the mouse oiver the house icon

Whos we? Id guess if theres a sudden upsurge of people using smartphones to log in DD might do something about it. Id guess youre in a minority of one on this one.
Give yourself a break from TD, please.

Both versions of the Bold and the Curve will be obsolete in a few months anyway. My mate has just received a new prototype to test. On the new one they've gotten rid of the trackball and it uses and optical track pad. The phone they've sent him is very basic, screen and software wise but the track pad is pretty sweet. So expect to see that on the next versions of Bold and Curve.

The Storm just sucks all over the place. Feels cheap to use and the touch screen is un responsive.

    This is simply amazing.

My friend with the trackpad blackberry came to see me this afternoon and was all gutted because he left it in a taxi last night. He'd been trying to call it all day, it wasn't turned off but no one was picking up.

So I gave the number a try and the taxi driver answered it and agreed to bring it too us.

He's just left, he was only a young guy and didn't want any money for his trouble. My friend made him take 1500bt. All the guy really wanted was to call up the radio network to announce that the case was resolved.

Goes to show that there are still some genuinely good people in the world.

^^Didn't look but I know it would be shit. The screen isn't even as good quality as the old curve. It going to be released as a 'peoples blackberry' retailing somewhere between 50$ - 89$.

I wouldn't bother with it. Its too slow for typing. Your constantly deleting words because of misspelling.

The screen is on like a little press down/spring thingy, which is supposed to let you know that you've correctly selected something but it just feels cheap.

If you want touch screen I'd go for an iphone.

Blackberrys suck balls. Great big, hairy fat ones!

I don't know why anyone would have one unless they were forced to (e.g. work).
