I go straight to the bottom of each page?

Has there been a change in the way things are set up? Every thread I go to, even for the first time, finds me automatically zapped to the last post on that page. It's driving me nuts. Have I pressed something I shouldn't have? Is there any way to change this?

If you click on this

then it takes you to the last post.

If you click on the page number then it takes you to the top of that page

Actually it takes you to the first unread post, no help to the OP though.

I also experienced this last week for the first time. I had not reset any of the settings or altered the way I was conducting my searches or page preferences. I likewise was frustrated and sent a PM to the admin. Response was provided by admin but it did not provide what was necessary to correct matters.

Have you got a faulty mouse or mouse pad? This combined with a bad internet conection at the time would maybe do that. Try a reset on the computer and mouse.

Reset didn't work for me. Internet connection not Thai but in US and very fast. Same results from multiple locations, computers, internet connections.

go to user CP, scroll down to Thread Display Options...Thread display mode and make sure you have linear - oldest first selected.

But....just checked that and that's how it's set up!

All joking aside, it's a real pain. Every page I go to starts at the top, then whoosh, I'm at the bottom, or sometimes as stated, stranded half-way. It's doing my brains in!

There are no internet issues, I'm in the UK and it's as fast as anything and it only happens here!

I use 3 different browsers on here most days, it aint happening to me and nothing has been changed that would cause that in the last few months.

Okay, could it be a browser issue with me? I use a Dell inspiron 6000 laptop and IE8 (beta). It wasn't a problem a few days ago, nowt has changed in that time and it looks like I'm not the only one!

err...so try a different browser. Don't import cookies and that will eliminate them as well. Google Chome would be quickest to install.

I have been using IE8 Beta and had the same problem with the page dropping
I now use Google Chrome and have not had any more problems

I also agree with you that it is a fabulous feature so PLEASE can someone tell me how to fix it.

works for me with both firefox 2 and opera.

i had that many problems with FF3, that i ditched it.

Always takes me to the first unread post with IE7 XP.

But I have always had a problem of sometimes it will open on top and then shift to the bottom of the page, not often but has always done so at different times, and I just scroll to the top and continue on, but I also thought it might be a bum internet connection as I am in Thailand and you know how good our services are here,
