    landing page all fooked up

    hi

probably not the right forum for a technophobe to be posting but when I access TD ,the landing page on my lap top shows recent thread and the usual headline options.

However, the threads on the landing page extend way past the options and require scrolling along just to see a whole picture/reply to a thread.

I initially thought that it was a settings issue... to no avail.

It also seems to be the same on the work PC (naughty me) and also on the gaypad.

Confused and bewildered.... how can I get it back to normal?

And forget the gaypad issues, Apple have enough problems as it is.

    you can't

someone has posted a BIG pic which is stretching the page .

    posted pic sizes should be 800 x 600 .

it'll return to normal by itself when the offending thread is bumped .

you can of course book mark anypage and use that as your entrance as the log in is on top of all

And seems not to care, it having been pointed out on several occasions.
There appears to be add on code or scripts that will prevent thin on vbulletin, but they are not used here.

I remember bolking DD once about the choice of threads on that page and was informed that they are auto selected and will only stay there for a relatively short period of time .

Problem is folks on desktops with decent monitors don't suffer the problem only those of us on smaller monitors do .

Even so anything over 800 x 600 is a bandwidth hog

^ Just checked and normal service has resumed.

Nothing to see here now, move along...*using a deep policemans voice*...

    --EDIT--

There is another problem now. The recent threads bit on the landing page now just show the lastest posts from the "Constuction in Thailand" forum.

trouble is Thetyim you are just making a rod for your own back as the threads on that page are randomly selected and every time a pic bigger than 800 x 600 is selected we'll have the problem .

^ according to the vbulletin forums, the scripts have been available for years.
Add ons though, don't come with the standard release.
