| Oh Fuk | **Thailand in London** ![]() well, there have not been any proper Thai festivals in London for a while, then all of a sudden, two come along at once the pics are all from the Singha festival, but they are interchangeable strangely enough, one was sponsored by Singha beer, the other by Chang beer each only had their own beer available. Other than that, they were pretty much identical except one was held in Battersea park, the other in Greenwich. here is the queue it was only that long as the boys on the gate were rather unprofessional a general view of the festival some of the participants it was a nice sunny day, so the tree shade was nice

| Oh Fuk | There was some entertainment including traditional dancing and there was some less traditional dancing by these nice girls and some old fashioned music there was actually more than one spectator, but I pushed to the front Lots of things for sale The wife bought a lot of these souvenirs of Thailand! smiles everywhere |

| Oh Fuk | anyway, this is the beer tent and the prices...£2 a can lots of food stalls, although the food was not very good everyone seemed happy with it though The second festival was, as I said, very similar except for one other thing I won a raffle, the prize being a £50 voucher for a nice Thai restaurant in Central London. We will go there next Thursday |

| A green for the effort. Reminds me of a Thai festival I drove to -- about two hours away from Los Angeles. Might've gone to a nice restaurant or had a kick-ass meal at home for the price of carnival food. I was thrilled to see a few firm, cellulite-free asses, but my wife was far less than impressed. No dancers. No lesbians, no blow-job tents. Hell. aside from the black hair, what's the attraction? |

depends on where you go, of course! I have a feeling that a meal for two plus a couple of Singhas (not wine, please!) will come to over £50 if we eat a lot 2/3 starters prob £7 each Tod nam pla, spring rolls etc £21 2/3 dishes prob £8 average each £24 4 beers prob £3 each £12 not even £60 so far. I will let you all know! The restaurant is the ChaoPhraya just off Oxford St, behind Selfridges | ||

| Special Member | I got 6 cans for a tenner and they gave me a crappy cool bag with a broken zip that i promptly threw away after the beer ran out. (got my phone to work with my laptop but when i tried to add to the gallery all the pics were too sodding big!)

| I remember going to the Thai wat in berkeley every Sunday. They didn't serve beer. I was dating a woman that imported Sing and distributed it throughout the Bay area. She always had an extra case or two of mis-labeled (Must be Malt Liqour, not Beer) large bottles for me. Free or not it didn't taste any better then than it does now I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a case of some decent Pale Ale when you get back Andy. Hell, I'll even cook you a meal
