Enjoy your two weeks of winter!!! I'm in Australia at the moment and to date it's been the coldest summer on record. The last few days have warmed up a bit but prior to that most days ranged from 16 to 25 degrees C. I've only just stopped wearing a bloody sweater. It's supposed to be around 40 degrees this time of year.
^^Well, it is a little chilly to go swimming today...
Nongbaulamphu area the weather is just perfect no jumper or jeans needed yet great riding weather
No riding motor bikes but hang on I will go try the missus and let you know if the weather is good for riding bitches
No good
Anyway just waiting for a mate and then I am off for a motorcycle ride might get lucky while I am out
Don't go to Phrae then.Originally Posted by hillbilly

It's blowing like a damn hurricane in Hua Hin. Certainly windier than when TD Durian passed a week or so ago. There is no way I can swim in the sea, the cross current on the beach nearly swept me off my feet yesterday.
According to Weather Underground it was 20 degrees in Korat at midnight and had dropped to 17 at 7 AM this morning, just when I started my daily run. Everyone I saw on the road was bundled up with many wearing wool caps. The dogs have their t-shirts on.
Got the duvet out for the night a few weeks back, wearing heavy material and long sleeves in the day.
For the first time in 11 years vacationing/living in Thailand, today is the very first time I would have liked a jacket riding a motorbike.
More like early spring in New England than fall in Thailand. And windy too.
I spent Christmas in Pranburi a couple of years ago, it was lovely, but very, very windy and too cold to swim in the seaOriginally Posted by Dougal
it is cold today. It will get even more cold in late december. I remember last year turning off the AC for 2 nights in a row, freezing in my bed.
Bout 80 degrees here, the breeze is blowing through the building and I am thinking of putting a tshirt on
-5 right now and I'm still wearing short sleeves and jeans.
The talk about youse guys wearing jackets and sweaters is silly talk!
There was ice on the roads on the way home tonight. Two days ago we had 100MPH winds knocking down trees, power lines, etc. along with several inches of rain. Bizarre weather.
About 30 C here everyday but it does rain for about a half hour everyday, too. A real hardship I must say but I do muddle through somehow.
Never wear shorts so teh jeans are normal no matter the temp. But I am getting ready to bring out the socks. Hate wearing the things.
^socks?Haven't worn them for three years!
It's even cool in Bangkok today.
I walked on the sunny side of the soi when I was coming to work this morning.
it's even cooler today, no more than 23 C
It was frigid and overcast in Korat all morning. People looked at me as if I was nuts running in my shorts and singlet. When I got back I boiled water for a hot shower and spent the morning under a comforter in bed watching a DVD and drinking hot tea with lemon and honey. Shades of 30 years ago in Northern California.
According to Weather Underground it was 17 at 7 AM this morning. Same as yesterday, but it sure felt colder.
Lemon's OK but Honey is much too demanding....
I've met them both and I can tell you that I found Lemon to be quite sour, but Honey was very sweet.
