Nominations for the President of Britain

Hypothetically, if the UK was to become a republic, who would you nominate to be President?

    My suggestions:

    David Attenborough

    Stephen Fry

    Helen Mirren

Maybe we'll have a TD election later.

I agree, David Attenborough. Britain's greatest living person.
The man responsible for putting Monty Python on to the telly.

I'd go with Betty Windsor as well.

A choice between someone who has dedicated their life to being a head of state or a prick like they always get in the US? It's a no brainer.

    David Attenborough ?

He looks like a queer and sounds like a queer and he's on television
So he is definitely probably a queer

Does being 'queer' mean one is unable to be head of state?

A statesman of impeccable character who's first tasks would be to redefine the laws on immigration and of course more importantly oversee the safe return of West Ham Utd to the Premiership

Maybe they could put Tony and Gordon next to her at the same time, then the whole country could have a party.

To all you Thatcher bashers if Britain hadn't had her leadership we would have ended up in a worse situation than Greece and Portugal are in now.
