Going Thailand to UK would be more fun though..... That way you can get through all the shitty countries first while still fresh and enjoy the European leg as a wind down.

Coming back the other way would be horiffic..... Imagine being stuck at the Iran/Paki border knowing you've got another 6K+ miles to go and a whole lot of crap to get through.

or, to make it more interesting.... I've seen a number of stories of people driving Tuk Tuks from Thailand to Europe. Need to reverse that and drive back here in a milk float
