Coverage of the '96 elections would be his last. He was retiring from ABC News. Thinking the cameras were no longer rolling, as the election results were in, and it was early a.m., he said his goodbyes to the people in the booth. The cameras had not stopped rolling. There was still a live feed to the nation's citizens. It was rather refreshing.

I don't know if any TD members are following the Charlie Sheen story as told by Charlie Sheen. Recently, cocaine-binging, pornstar-banging Charlie has declared himself invincible. He told Chuck Lorre; the writer, director and producer of Two and a Half Men, basically, Charlie told the god of Charlie's world to go rhyme with himself.


Although it's not my favorite Charlie Sheen quote, I'll start with Charlie setting his boss straight:

"Last I checked, (Chuck), I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write. Clearly someone who believes he's above the law."

Two and a Half Men must be coming towards the end though, even without Charlie's escapades.

I watched the first couple of seasons and thought it to be quite funny, but it all becomes a bit same-same eventually.
