    Ramadan starts on the 11th

I just got copied on the memo regarding the office and site timings during Ramadan, anyway the writer finish it of with this classic sentence.

“All concerned are requested to observe the timings religiously”

    Ramadan is here again.

The one time of the year when Muslims cannot eat or drink within the hours of daylight, they just starve.

Never has the term, "Not enough hours in the day" been more appropriate!

They don't starve... they eat at night. Takes a bit of discipline, that's all.

The not eating part is not the big problem. The not drinking is. When Ramadan falls in the hot season that's extremely dangerous for the long term health.

During my time in Saudi Arabia i learned that during Ramadan the food consumption increases by 30% as not eating during the day is followed by eating all night.
