Stuff your mum threw out.

Over the years, from being a nipper and into adulthood, my mums attic (loft) became a sacred repository for loads of things of mine that i didn't want to lose. A recent telephone conversation with my mum didn't go too well. She informed me that a skip had been hired, along with a couple of chaps, to clear out the loft, and that all my JUNK had been chucked out.
The junk included:-

A pile of letters from my first 'real' girlfriend, dating from early 1970's.
My handpainted lead soldier collection (Napoleonic era).
An extensive fossil collection.
A signed copy of poetry by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
All my biking gear (leathers,boots,gloves and helmet).
Unreturned library books i borrowed in 1970.
All my university work.
Engraving tools (for cleaning fossils).
Diary i kept for 7 years whilst at boarding school, a great literary masterpiece of day to day life 1970-1977.
Box of black and white photos (see above).
Football sticker albums from about 1968-1973.
Collection of porn mags my dad gave me.
My first suit (A very tasty purple pinstripe with lapels wide enough to kit out a medium sized sailboat).
Assorted box of singles with no middles, 1966-1970.
God knows what else.



I would like to hear from anyone else who has suffered such tragic loss at the hand of another, so as to ease my suffering in this hour of need.

Airfix models, all painted.
Stamp collection.
Board games, including Risk, Apocolypse, Britannia, Totopoly and some car racing game i cant remember the name of.

I think there was another one but I cant remember it, so it must have paled into insignificance compared to the above.

My mom threw out eight pairs of BUFE's my Dad had sent back from Vietnam over the years (1960's). BUFE's were 'Big Ugly Fucking Elephants' - ceramic elephants painted in ugly colors which could be used as plant stands, small coffee tables and the like. I think they cost about $10 a pair back then. She had them in the garage for years, before finally chucking them. Saw them in Bloomingdale's about ten years ago - they were $800 a pair at that time. Nostalgia or some such shit.....

Yes.
When I came to Thailand I packed up all my treasures and left then in the Safest place I knew --- my father's attic. Everything I ever valued in my life was in that box.

The whole lot has been thrown out.
I still cannot understand why because some of it came from my Grandfather so it was part of my father's childhood.

I had hundreds of baseball cards circa 1955-1962 stored in a shoe box and all in mint condition. Upon returning home from overseas in early '70's, found that mom had seen fit to clean up my room and get rid of a lot of what she thought was junk. Today, the cards would have been worth a small fortune. Oh well, Sabai Sabai!

my ex mother is like sabang's.
never fukkn chucks out anything at all.
it is a kind of disease............

it lives in what used to be a huge 2-bedroomed townhouse, but the shit is piled up ceiling-height and there is just enough space between the piles of useless crap to form a narrow passage, an half an inch wider than her zimmer frame and two inches narrower than her arse, from the bed to the tv and to the crapper, then into the kitchen and back to the crapper, kinda like a mole's burrow!
she has a little kunt-licker dog in there somewhere, but i doubt she has seen it for a few months, and there is dogshit everywhere and possibly the corpse of the dog hidden somewhere amongst the crap she hoards.
