yes i know its a lame question to ponder
but i need intellectual stimulation besides sex to keep me happy

I am not a whore monger hence my curiosity,

I realize there are 4 basic categories of Thai women
1.whores
2.middle class semi or not educated workers
3.Upper class/rich
4.country girls -uneducated etc

i reckon its #2 and #3 that I am looking for but......

i am using hip in the obvious western sense

what is the sense of cool in Bangkok?

does she take ju jitsu lessons or do yoga?

can she watch a fellini or david lynch DVD and actually like it?


spend time reading kafka or chuck palahniuk?

are any of them vegetarian ?

do they listen to drum and bass or house with passion?

do they get involved in fitness/cycling/running/martial arts....fine art?museums?musicians?comics horror flicks indie film books etc

i realize i am all over the place with this post...don't judge me too harshly ; )
and forgive my haphazard dis-organized thoughts.

It's just that after hanging in NYC/europe I am trying to get a sense of what is up with middle class thai babes before i embark on my journey.

And, unless you have an awful lot of money, the chances of any Thai woman from the higher levels of society even looking at you are zero. They are some of the most shallow, materialistic women in the world; the higher they are in society, the more so. I knew a number of them when working in Thailand running a big company - daughters of Generals, politicians, businessmen - not a functioning brain cell among the lot. And, how about a bit about you, other than your appalling taste in music. Are you black, white or other? Rich, poor, or other? Old, young, or other? Fat, fit or other? Cool car or not? Hip or not? This will all make a difference in your appeal to Thai women in each of your four categories. Rather than answer this, I think you should go watch a Woody Allen movie and forget this flight of fancy.

OP, I think your classifications are pretty daft. But anyway, from observing my missus and her friends, who are class number #5 - 'lower class' academics working hard to improve their own lot. High achievers. Work in banks, marketing, engineering etc.

Anything Korean is in. Magazines, soap operas, fashion, they love it.

Anything Japan was in a few years ago but not so now. Taiwan is cool too (soap operas etc.)

Watching 'farang' movies in English with no sub-titles.

Western top 40 catchy electro music, Look Tung is NOT cool.

Fuking on the first, or even 10th date is still not cool.

Having a token gay / katoey friend is essential.

Evangelical Christianity might be the next fad!

Dating young farangs is in, but could be getting old.
