Another photo thread?

Hi all

I am presently in the process of digitizing my app. 1500 old slides. There are some of my two vacations in Thailand in the mid 1970ies, 1974 and 1976 I believe.

There are a few I would like to share. Do these qualify for the Siam, Thailand & Bangkok Old Photo Thread or should they go to the regional Thailand Forums?

And if anybody is interested in a fast, cheap and easy method to digitize slides with good quality I would do a thread on it in the photography subforum. The quality of course depends on the quality of the slides and they did not get better stored for 35 years.

I think a new thread would be better as they are all your pictures and you won't get other photos thrown in between yours

If you do start a new thread, put a link to it on this one, Takeovers. I'd like to take a look at it, but might miss it otherwise as I don't look at the top half of the board much.

I have put up the first installment, the

Bangkok Sunday Market (Old Slides Bangkok Sunday Market).

More to come but it will take time. The digitizing is fast and easy but those slides have gone through a lot of fading and discoloration. Some postprocessing to get them in shape again.

I thougt some people may enjoy the old photos but now I am drowning in a flood of greens.
