Testing the locks after a two year restoration.
It's nice to see water in the canal again.

Ha, there were some of bikes in there when it was drained and a few road cones. I should have gone in with a metal detector.
They used to run a canal boat up and down in the summer. It's in Georgetown and comes down from great falls and there is a walkway or bike path all along it.
They are setting up for some holiday light show starting tomorrow.
I'll have to brave the cold again and check it out.
The gardens of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, 6km from Chanthaburi city.
This was originally Suan Ban Kaew Palace, the private residence of her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, the Queen of King Prajadhipok (also known as Queen of King Rama VII).
This area was donated to Thailand’s Ministry of Education in 1972.
Lite ballance on the phone is a bit off. Let's see if these work out.
Just a word of love for these folks. They were waiting to see this thing fly as I was as well. I had to leave the whole kit as it uploaded while I stumbled about speaking scat Lao.
Try that in Holland or France.
Fish .......keeping it real from time to time.
Ok, I'll come clean. On the third Beer Lao and still cant figure this out.
I could blame Howie, the sats or myself.
I've learned a long time ago that in the words of Robert Plant it's "Nobody's fault but mine."

My first night in Bangkok since 2010.
Blowing a few points from my horde from work travel.
The room beats the one I had in Saigon but BKK feels a tad sedate after the wild west of Ho Chi Minh.
Probably more liveable than it was 10 years ago though.
Little topless alien feet VC python charmer was a little minx indeed.
She came scampering across the road when I walked past the next night to see if she could be of any further service but I like to chill on my last night of an adventure and reflect on my new experiences so I had to prise myself out of the vice-like grip she had on my hand and repair to the nearest restaurant for my beef fried noodles and final flagon of Bia Saigon!
From an article about a new bridge. The Chinese are teaching the plastic rubbish to line up for collection it seems.
Went for a stroll along the river the other day.
^What river would that be shlocker?
View from loom
^ Going by the shirt the woman in his photo is wearing, I'd say he's already there.
