Traffic jam in the New Forest today.. taken through the windscreen.
and this one.. a wheat field in Hampshire
(little bit of post processing on that one, gamma, brightness and hue... very diffuse, flat light today)

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Wow. I am liking the wheat field one. Very dramatic
^ Robs your man Asta ,, IMHO he is one of the most gifted photographers on here
Indeed. Its a shame Bobcock and Bustak dont post more too. I've gained some great photography and photoshop tips from here.
Same as.. I learned a lot from their threads. Bustak hasn't been seen in ages but Bobcock is still posting picture threads.
Here is a thread by Bobcock that really captures the mood of the place, chilling though it is given the location.

My favorite picture of all time on TD is from Bustak. Though it may take me a while to find it again..
WujuMao is also very talented and King Willy had his moments (though obviously he doesn't post here anymore )
Here's the proof:

The rest is trial and error.. and taking lots and lots of shots

Bobcock does some great picture threads, but not so many tutorials these days.
Great pics, asta, Nigel and Neo. Neo, why were the horses on the road like that?
they were following a chicken...Originally Posted by natalie8

New forest ponies have the right to roam maybe? Goes back something like 800 years I think.
Very cool. When we drove through there, we didn't see any ponies.
It's not just horses, cattle too and donkeys.. it's great around this time when they all have their young, baby donkeys are way cool!
Depends on what part of the forest you're in, you won't see scenes like this on the main routes, you have to be in the enclosed parts of the national park.
Next time you and your fella come over we'll be more than happy to show you around if you like
That's so nice of you, Neo. We definitely want to return. We only drove through the New Forest on our way to Bournemouth. Our trip was too short to really spend any time in one place, but now we have a good idea of where to go.
I love the cows too and I would really love to see the baby donkeys.
not recent; from NZ a few years back
footy trip to chiang rai
more footy
This is the first time I've seen a convertible truck.
Notice the safety conscious driver wearing his helmet.

Beautifull pic CM ,, was you on a boat or a bridge ?
Lovely pic Mao...
Do videos count..?
Taken by the River Avon at the weekend.
I was wondering what that was doing in the image properties. 1.32min of weed flowing in a river.
