many cameras have the option onboard - they will show you the edge of the last photo so you can match it up before taking the next shot

    Match Of The Day

It's the FA Cup final played out on Scarborough beach in England .
my excuses in advance - I only managed to get a few shots of the action , rather than the 500 I would need to narrow them down to a few good ones. ....
I always forget about the cameras burst mode too
Anyway here are the goalkeepers :
    playing in the left nets a man who looks like most of us feel first thing in the morning;
but don't be fooled , this man is a trained acrobat.

    likes plastic spades for goalposts

and to our right the other keeper,
strengths : youth , athleticism , and the fact he's not desperate for a pint right now
Weakness - ginger hair, but at least this one can keep his shoe laces tied .........

For goalposts, more of a rock pool fishing net man

Right lets zoom back and look at the respective defenders

    here are the midfielders

Looks like the goalkeeper fancies a go at been centre forward
Think the spade goalies committed too early ..

It's getting hard work keeping that goal now ,and here comes the striker again,
note that's not the match ball above his head , just a giant ball in the distance getting in the way..

They think it's all over over -
it is now, despite protests from the others
these lads call refreshment time .

    guess they earned it !

ok so it is all done within the camera? I probably used the incorrect term of "panoramic" when in reality it is 2 or 3 separate shots "stitched" together within the software of the camera. thanks baldrick, I think I got it now and it might even be so that the wife has that feature on her camera. I'm gonna go check it out.

^You've not lived until you have survived the seagulls when eating fish and chips on the harbour wall at Scarborough. The temple monkeys in Thailand are amateurs in comparison.

^ Used to mate ,, had many a night out there in the past ,, we used to load those God awful Lada's a bit up the coast from there , used to stay there on the way back , think there is one of those cliff lift things there to.

Bridlington was a better night out though as was Whitby

Blue, those pics are funny and extremely scary at the same time. I guess Scarborough Ontario was named after this place for a reason, except there are probably more weapons in the Ontario version.

What's with the huge boobs on that one guy?????

This year has been a complete wash out, so far as agricultural shows are concerned. Yesterday was an exception to that rule, so we headed off to Emley show.

A little jousting to entertain the masses.

    Some fine beasts on show.

I bet you could get some great steaks off of this big falla.

Im not really into poultry, but I have admit, their plumage is quite stunning.

The royal armouries in Leeds puts on some great jousting shows, as does Warwick castle, and Leeds castle in Kent. Not only do they put on a spectacular show, but, the armour is magnificent.
