Curious PH. How many actual hours of sleep are you getting now. And how many were you getting before you started waking up early?

Before I'd probably average seven hours and now it's somewhere between four and five.

Not a huge difference in numbers, but certainly in how I feel . . . headaches, lethargy etc...

Thats a significant drop in sleeping hours.
No doubt resulting in what is known as "sleep debt". Its the cumulative effect of lack of sleep over time and can result in physical and psychological symptoms.

There has got to be a reason for the sudden change in sleeping pattern. I would be focusing more on finding out what that reason is rather than trying to manage the symptoms.
There are many organic diseases which can cause these symptoms such as hyperthyroidism. Do you have any other symptoms such as weight loss, palpitations etc..? Maybe a good idea to talk to a Doc and get some blood tests done to try and find the cause.

Need to get layed more, good for the nerves and induces sleep.
I got layed as often as I could while in VietNam, I like those girls, always had calm nerves then.
Fact when I was a kid, I had a Buck Rabbit that when he got a little, he flipped over backwards and passed out.

Struth,, My aunts husband had some Rabbits and we went lover and visit them, he gave the 2 boys each a rabbit, a small runt of a Checker Giant buck and a female California doe.
I had decided to stay home thru the summer so I could go Elk hunting in the fall with my Dad. So I had got a job falling timber.
And as kids do, they quit the rabbit business early and I was kind of interested in them.
So to make a long story short, I ended up with the 2 car garage insulated and hutches built and killed the Calif. doe as they are not good brood rabbits, loved that little runt buck so kept him and got a New Zealand white buck and had a dozen NZ White does, had automatic feeders for the nursing does and auto water fountains for all does, and was butchering and selling about about 40 rabbits a month, I cut wood and traded it to the guy at the feed mill for rabbit feed and was doing great until I decided to go off somewhere back to work the next year.
That little runt buck had good blood and he always sired good litters, but when he got a nut He would always jump straight in the air and land on his head in his water dish, if I had forgotten to remove it,,laughed my ass off at him.
Most will just fall over sideways in a dead faint, but he was an acrobatic dude.

Thats a very interesting story about your youthful experience with rabbits there BG.
Somehow I doubt it doubt it has anything to do with PHs sleep problems though.
Oh right. You did have a rabbit that went to sleep after sex once when you were a kid. Now I get the connection. Your advice is always appreciated. Hope your rabbit is OK. Try keeping your hands off him for a while.

Those do some good, but as they are basically an Antihistamine and a slight tranquilizer you should be careful that your prostate is healthy and not starting to enlarge as sometimes starts to happen in the late 40's and early 50's as antihistamines do tend to effect that somewhat.

No fun at all . . . had a chance at a nap this afternoon but forced myself not to because I was worried about how this would affect my sleep.

I guess it is beginning to be self-perpetuating . . . now I lay awake knowing I'll wake up soon anyway . . . and I am very seldom on the net at this time of night . . .

Sigh

Not really any changes . . . no smoking, virtually no alcohol . . . but at least one bar of good chocolate a day! At least!
