| 'Farangconnection' of Surin 'Farangconnection' of 'Thaivisa' fame has withdrawn his sponsorship on the said forum. What a fcuking blessing as the bloke gets right up my nose in his persuit for attention, personally or business wise. He's still working for sympathy with his cancer scare the other month. Okay he may have medical problem, and I feel for him, but don't we all at the end of the day ? Death for us all is just around the corner. Sorry, I would have posted this on 'Thaivisa' in 'Isaan Forum', but they're being kind to Martin, alias 'farangconnection', so I couldn't post this there. |

| If you feel a FC/Martin promotional fix coming on, just dash on over to surinfarang. His influence is all over this little regional forum. A better chance that his withdrawal from TV was purely a financial one, less political. Outside of the draining expenses of ongoing treatment for his two-year battle with cancer, business at the beloved 'Farang Connection' isn't what it use to be. FC 2 never developed as it was expected to and his managerial absence has reflected towards the quality of the business. Regardless of his regaining or deminishing health, some expect him to sell lock, stock, and barrel.

'Rural Surin' explained it correctly regarding the "surinfarang" forum. He did like wise on the 'Isaan forum' on 'Thaivisa' in my opinion. I too believe that his choice not to sponsor TV was a business move. Not the 'I'm being picked on sympathy line he came down with on TV'. Last edited by superman : 07-11-2009 at 04:54 PM.

As to Thaivisa, it's just a very sharply run business. That's just the way it goes. Andrew Hicks

| Been once and never again, he might be a 'nice guy' but seems hysterical when it comes to any honest negative comments about his poor food and service. Really got upset with me when I posted about how expensive his internet was (90 baht an hour) no wonder nobody used it. Mrs said his Tom Yam was the worst she had ever tasted, beans on toast were not up to much either. |
