    Music Police

It appears they are back! The wonderful music police. Licenses are coming up for renewal on Nov 31, yet a rather attractive female comes in and tries to collect 6 weeks in advance. My question is this...... Can an establishment use UBC music and not have to pay the music police? I would like to find out how to not pay these NAZI bastards!! Or the henchmen they send in to fine the bars 50,000 Baht.

It doesn't matter if you are just a restaurant or a bar w/ ladies. When they hit they hit hard. In hua Hin and Pattaya. Especially Pattaya. Easy money. There have been reports 2 years ago they went in earlier and put Thai Music on open computers. That's a second license. fine--- 50,000 baht. They take a manager to police station soi9 in Pattaya and the computer.

Don't think so, in Sweden even hospitals have to pay licence fees for providing radio programs to their patients.
Why don't you contact TrueVision (UBC) and find out if they have restaurant licences like all media providers in Europe have.
