    Should Israel Bomb Iran ?

I'm getting tired of all the talk about it on Fox News and would like the Kosher Cowboys to bomb those filthy "let's bend over and stick our asses in the air to worship our lord" Muslims back into the stone age.

Anyone else with even an inkling of an opinion on this issue ?

The sooner the better. You must be like O bam ma, just ask them, Iran, nicely, not to do anything bad and all will be OK.

    What a fool.

Turn it off then. God knows why any self respecting human would tune into that bile in the first place though.

Do you have any better channels than that?

Sure, sounds like a good idea -- they were the only ones with any sense when they bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor a while back. Not like Iran has many options at retaliation if Israel bombs their nuclear facilities.

    n

    I don't really give a sh*t.

But it will be interesting to see what happens to oil prices as the Strait of Hormuz may be shut off, and even if it isn't, oil will sky-rocket, according to analysts.

Glad I have a small motorbike.

That wouldn't last long -- international 'peace force' annexing the territory in the name of the oil faring, I mean, peace faring nations..

What has Iran ever done to the USA to deserve such hatred and threats of destruction?

Seems like an awful lot of Yanks are advocating attacking Iran. Does any of them have a clue as to why?

The U.S. and the rest of the world will have to live with the reality of an Iran nuclear weapons. Bombing the Qum facility will only delay the inevitable and stengthen the resolve of Iran.
Sanctions are not going to work either, when have they ever worked? Nations are not going to give up their bi-lateral trade relations over this issue.
The only option is to live with it. It will at least create a condition of parity with a nuclear armed Israel.

If Iran could just stop talking and thinking about Israel there wouldn't be any problem. I guess the pro Nuke'em guys are just tired of the Muslims wanting to pick at Israel.

But of course they won't leave it alone. And Israel will probably do what it always does ...defend themselves by taking care of the problem. I would bet that they have every phone and office in Iran, that needs to be, bugged. They probably know how much of a real threat there is and they will probably strike first if need be.

Iran has never attacked Israel and has never threatened to attack Israel.

Any Israeli attack on Iran could in no way be seen as a "defencive " strike.

John Wayne and Ronald Reagan would be proud of you strait shootin' all amerkin cowboys.
Of course, both were Hollywood actors that never fought in a war or even served in the armed forces.

Put it this way, Israel has many enemies- I don't mean those that oppose it's brutal and illegal occupation of Palestine, I mean those that want to see it destroyed. The more long term thinking and intelligent of them will be hoping- secretly or not- that Israel does attack Iran. To hasten it's demise. The damage wrought to Iran would be considered a bonus too, by most- because Iran is Shiite.

I think most of Iran's nuke power facilities are way underground. But, knowing the Israelis, they will find a way to blow them up. I would like to have all the many nice, intelligent, peaceful Iranians sent on hols before they do the job tho. One thing's for sure, the Israelis ain't gonna wait for Obama to do more kissyface with Iran if they feel threatened.

Not necessarily- I think (Think) that Iran will content itself with developing nuclear power- the 'implied threat' of it having it's own nuclear technology will suffice to reinforce it's status as a regional power, the economic cost of sanctions should discourage it from taking the next step.
Thing is, unlike Israel, Iran does not have any territorial ambitions- it just wants to keep it's borders inviolate.

For a people that pride themselves on their intelligence, they seem to be acting very dumb to me.

Anyway, don't let those Yids play that old shuffle trick on you again. The urgent diplomatic emphasis is the formation of a Palestinian state, and the end of the Israeli occupation.

Third party noise and disinformation is an Israeli speciality.

    Jet, you are getting soft

Apart from that: There is no way the Israelis can do this on their own and get away with it. They need corridors to get there and if Obama isn't in on it, the Saudies must. And then they will meet hell at home.

The only country that can rein in the abuse of Israeli power is USA. Unfortunately, the Zionist lobby in USA holds the balance of political power in US through their control of the US media.

USA funds Israel, arms Israel and protects Israel from action by the UN Security Council by way of the US veto. Israels acts of war in attacking its neighbours are illegal under international law. Yet Israel is protected in the UN by big brother USA.

Until the American people grow some balls and develop some moral scruples, the US Zionist lobby will continue to control US politics and the ME problem will continue to deteriorate. The US policy of going against the rest of the world to protect Israel in its illegal activities is at the root of the problem in the ME.

Why does Iran want nuclear power when it has so much oil, and why put a civilian research facility underground? Why hide it? Why? They only came clean after we found it. Our best hope is that they wage war on each other and destroy each other.

Why is Israel not facing UN sanctions for not disclosing its nuclear facility ?

shouldn't we bomb them for that ?

To answer you questions there Dogcatcher,--

#1 Oil is a finite resource and Iran is planning for the future.

#2 Why wouldn't they put it underground when the Israelis are threatening almost on a daily basis to bomb them?

#3. Who's hiding it? "WE" didn't find it at all. The Iranians announced it and have invited the IAEA to inspect the facility.

The international forum for discussing these matters is the UN. It is USA and Israel who want to step outside those universiallly accepted boundaries with talk of bombings and war!

And, what the fuck has it all got to do with USA or Israel anyway?

Well, yes he did- but as an Actor. He was commissioned for this purpose- his short sightedness precluded him from serving overseas under any circumstance, indeed he would not have been accepted into the military except as an 'extra' for this reason. Of course, he was already a popular 'B grade' actor by then anyway. He was hired to make patriotic and help the war effort type movies.

Some years later he served again, of course. As Commander in Chief.

Fair question, with a simple answer. Iran indeed has a lot of oil- it is a big exporter.
But it has very little domestic refining capacity- much of it's refined oil it has to import (at great cost) while exporting millions of barrels of cheap crude. Ironically.
It cannot further develop it's domestic refining capacity because of Western sanctions.

So there are sound economic reasons for it developing nuclear power generation, besides Peak oil theory.

Umm... they didnt sign the agreement for non- proliferation of atomic weapons. So, according to USA that gives them a technical point of law that allows them to flaunt the UN attempts to stop the spread of nuclear weapons.
Pretty neat huh? Just tell them to get stuffed and the USA will let you have as many nuclear war heads as you like. Its all legal like and above board you know. Well, as long as the USA endorses such a sham, it is anyway.
