If you refer to the Stormtrooper, it's Yes and Yes.
I have fighterpilot flight gloves. They are very comfy, like a second skin.

For Lord Vader, his gloves are a bit bulky I think.

That Darth Vador looks a bit stiff, I would do a much better Darth Vador

it would be nice of you to post before the event, so we could have had the chance to see the real thing

do you get paid for those promo ? or did you just decide to just go there shopping with your friends and get all the attention ?

Umm yes, the real Darth Vader couldn't make it, so we had a younger stand in.
Ok I'll post the next event here.

Normally we get a small donation, that we forward to some charity. That is what the worldwide 501st Legion is all about. Adidas contacted an event company, who contacted the Star Wars fanclub in Thailand.

But since Adidas in Thailand don't want to give away $$$, we got a free pair of Adidas Star Wars shoes instead. Which is ok for 4h "work", because the shoes are around 8000B a pair.

from my Tokyo trip, found a shopping mall with entire floors dedicated to models and StarWars collection items:

here R2D2 for 2000 USD, remoted crontrol 1/3 of size
