    Thanon Rama IV

    The road not the King.
Why does every taxi driver, limo driver or any driver believe that Rama IV is the answer to all their prayers?

"There's no traffic on Rama IV"

"Really? Then what are all those funny metal boxes with a wheel on each corner? Now you've taken me miles out of my way and I can't even jump out and get the skytrain instead."

    W*nkers
Scotland is wet and dreary. Don't let anybody tell you different. Even the hills are mostly just big mounds, not proper mountains like the Alps or the Rockies. People will tell you it's all romantic and rugged but I've yet to see the evidence. Even when it's nice it's covered in a cloud of these bastard little insects called midges so you have to stay inside anyway. Plus it's ful of Scots. Case rested

I'll keep that in mind, will surely be a source of comfort next time I am progressing along that august boulevard at a slower pace than I can walk backwards after drinking a gallon of Beer Lao.

Compared with the alternatives Rama IV is heaven or the lesser of hells.

Lol, it's true that Rama IV is more often than not the better option but I know what you mean Lingmao. It's a bloody long road and you feel like your going nowhere.

Your best bet is just don't use taxis during peak hours.

If I was going from patpong to Phra Khanong, I'd go that route.

You've offered us no starting or finishing point to base this frankly rather silly thread on.

Good silly thread though, that's why I read it opposed to other less silly threads.
