looking for an offsider for Jet the dog.

We adopted Jet about a year ago from NR at Headrock.

He's great but we reckon he needs a friend. Well, more of an apprentice really.

A younger dog that can learn his/our routine and, eventually, take over as guardian of our shed.

Anyone got a pup looking for a good home?

Well as you can see, I don't love dogs, or they don't like me. Being a cat n'all.

I do know one dog, but he is a bit aggressive. Been chained up a while. A bit aggressive when you approach him. Growls a lot. But he never bites.

He should have been castrated when he was a pup, would have made him a lot calmer.

Can get him done before I send him over, though. Not bad looking, no fleas or mange.

Does tend to defecate inappropriately, but that's because his leash isn't long enough to reach the garden. Shouldn't be a problem with plenty of space.

    Can deliver.

he doesn't have a name yet, we just call him 'dog'. 'Cat' won't come downstairs while he's here, hence have to get rid of 'Guard "dog" ' Otherwise he's fine.

^ You tie your dog up all day? No wonder it's mean.
Good luck, JJ. How is the Jetster these days?

    Jet's good Jet.

Michael, thanks for the offer but no. I think we're looking for more of a pup/youngster who'll learn the ropes from Jet i.e. sleep, eat, sleep, bark, eat, sleep.

    Not a psychotic Cerberus.

    Thanks anyway.

Aaaw, Jet needing a companion, JJ? For one panicked mo when I read the title I thought you were having to get rid of him.

Sure you'll be able to get a dog from nearer to you, but if all else fails, HRD still have dogs needing homes & I can put you in touch with Verity who manages HRD now. Good luck & give my Jetty-boy a hug from me. All the best to you & Joy, too.

    Cheers NR, Appreciate it.

We might have a candidate. If it falls through I'll let you know.

    Take care.

Will the new one be called Gorgon or will there be a pic and a naming thread?

A blatant bump, but for a reason.

We're still looking for another dog. Some time soon we'll be moving to the new place and we'd like to get a chum for Jet. Preferably a pup that can learn to get on with things. Jet's great but a friend would do him good.

Anybody got a dog that needs a good home?

    1. I hate poodles.

    2. I can't see Jet, who's bollockless, being interested.

    3. Jet don't do anal, so I'm told.
