    Questions

Couple of questions here...all bunched together, did not want to start thread or have them each lost in threads.

    Hope someone knows the answers....

How do you measure the volume of water in a tank in litres ? For both a round tank, not round as in like a football round, round as in made from concrete rings and a square tank.

How long do chicken eggs take to hatch.

Where do you get lint free rags....all my rags have lint so it seems.
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut

This will help with your volume calcs - Link (With Pics)

Chicken eggs normally hatch in 21 days - tons of stuff about incubation online

For lint free rags - these are normally around the wood stains in good hardware shops

Actually I am amazed that the "First after the winner... International Architect of the tear 09" didn't already know these things

Maybe thats why I am always first after the winner.

As for rags around the wood section.....never ever seen them in Los.

I have tried several rags with the Tung oil for application and it has ALWAYS produced big to very small lint on the surface....thinking Chammois, or chammis or however it is spelt...would that work ?

Google is not my friend, that why I asked here....so others could learn also....I like to share.

    Thanks for the help MM

Go to a guitar shop and ask them if the have any polishing cloths made by Crafter, they are made from microfibre.. might work, I use them to avoid scratches on my guitars

    volume is easy

just the area of the surface x the depth in centimetres

area of the surface is "pi" x diameter squared divided by 4

e.g internal diameter of your rings is 80 cm

    so pi= 3.142

    so 3,142 x 80 x 80 ¬ 4 (no division key)

    same as 3.142 x 80 x 20 = 5027sq cm

multiply that by the depth of water, say 200cm

    1005400 cu cm

divide by 1000 gives you litres

    approx 1005 litres

a square tank is even easier

just mult the depth by width by breadth in cm and divide by 1000
    I have reported your post
