I have heard it all now - Thailand's new campaign to restore tourism confidence

I happened to be in a car that had the fm 107 radio channel on and they announced in English a new Thai campaign to restore foreigner's confidence in touring Thailand.

Encouraging restaurant servers and food prep workers to wash their hands with soap and water.

    What in the world.

Where do these Muppets come up with this stuff?

    Any comments?

Of course not, previously they would handle one week old dog feces before being allowed to prepare farang food. Additionally, a circle jerk of all available males was had to produce some special farang only sources (don't you remember the mayonnaise tasting a bit strange and yet oddly familiar?). I could go on...

Anyway, I think it is lovely that they are trying to match farang customs, no matter how unusual and funny. We should be grateful.

km, I do apologise, having a bout of severe flu, so I maybe inclined to lapses in judgement and act like a retard at times.

    What's your excuse?

talking of special sauces, whilst walking past the kitchen of a very popular with falang thai run restaurant here in hua hin i saw one of the kitchen staff changing her babies nappy...(or diapers for our american readers)

the baby was lying on the wooden chopping board whilst the soiled garment was peeled off, then they took the baby to the sink to clean her up.
