The story to end all stories for Harlen Ellison's Anthology Dangerous Visions

In a HYDROGEN WAR ravaged society the nubile young women go down to a futuristic zoo and have sexual intercourse with various deformed and non-human life forms in the cages. In this particular account a woman who has been patched together out of the damaged bodies of several women has intercourse with an alien female, there in the cage, and later on the woman, by means of futuristic science, conceives. The infant is born, and she and the female in the cage fight over it to see who gets it. The human young woman wins, and promptly eats the offspring, hair, teeth, toes and all. Just after she has finished she discoverers that the offspring is God.

One sultry evening in Bangkok, the Fresh Prince decides to call a few friends up for an evening out. The motley crew meet up at one of the many ex-pat bars in town and proceed to the top floor of their favoured establishment, for the first ice-cold beer of the evening. About an hour later the mood is good and the third round has been drained, but where is Freshy?

Outside, a shaven headed young man staggers curbside as a taxi pulls up. After falling into the rear seat and stumbling over the now alien address, the taxi pulls off along Suriwongse Road. The driver worries that yet another drunk farang will add to the already rank odour of the taxi. Luckily, the only mishap is the five minute prodding session that occurs outside the man's abode on a flooded street in a suburb on the edge of downtown.

Twelve hours later, the young man wakes up wondering how he got home and where the hell did he put his laptop and mobile phone...
