I'm watching this now and I must say it's brilliant.

OK, I admit to being a Fry fan, books, tv comedy etc. but this is different.

A remarkably open minded view of the USA.

Great thing about S. Fry. He's a large fat English queer but, also an extraordinarily clever one. I've met him at a few function/exhibitions where various "clever" people tried to put him down. None succeeded. He destroyed them, in the most charming way. Oscar eat your heart out.

Not sure. I believe he found a partner 4-5 years back. A while after his breakdown. Working like a trojan since. Seems well centered.

Recently had an email forwarded to me, it was apparently a transcript of an after dinner speech he made during the Ashes. Not sure if it was legit but sounded very Fry-ish and was bloody hilarious!

I've not had the pleasure of hearing him live unfortunately. Read and seen pretty much everything he has written / been in though.

The email was sent to my work address, if I've still got it I'll post in on here tomorrow. Actually I'd be quite interested to find out if it is legit.
