Could be that your cholestrol or BP is really high and your seeing those sparkly floaters in your eyes. They look like they they are zooming around in the air in front of you. you may have thought they were going in a certain direction but really they were just fading away in general.

If not that then maybe a ghost was watching you and when you awoke it moved behind the curtain. it could be the ghost that has been knocking all those tourists off in the guesthouses down south.
