    A Refreshing Change

Three times today I have been surprised, and it was a pleasant experience -

1: I watched what I thought was probably the best movie I have seen in the past 10 years - Revolutionary Road - Brilliant - the only downside I find to the Winslet/Caprio - is she always looks like his mother, and he never grows up - like a Michael J Fox - but the story was brilliant - and a few ex pats will relate to that! (or should I say a few potential ex pats that never quite went)

2: I discovered a German band called Rammstein - apparently they have been around since 1994!!! Never heard of them, but today, I was pleasantly surprised by a song "We're all Living in Amerika" how did this slip by?

3: Otis Taylor - 10 million Slaves - Finally got a decent download from the internet -

I would sum up that finding these three things has really "improved my day!"

STILL NOT GOT A DECENT LINK FOR UNDER MILK WOOD!!!!

And, tonight I can sleep happy instead of being the crabby old twat that this place sometimes turns you into.

"We're All living in Amerika, Coca Cola, Wunderbar!"

The emotionally disturbed son of Kathy Bates was a revelation. The main characters were so richly drawn and simultanaously sympathetic and flawed. Winslet's fate had a kind of inevitability about it. A true modern tragedy.

Which I suppose is what Teddy is getting at only with better economy of language in his case
