Sources "very close" to Michael Jackson's family have reportedly denied that former British child star Mark Lester has claimed he could be the biological father of the singer's daughter Paris.
Lester - who played Oliver Twist in the 1968 film musical Oliver! - reportedly told Britain's News Of The World tabloid: "I gave Michael my sperm so that he could have kids - and I believe Paris is my daughter."
The 51-year-old Briton, who was a friend of Jackson and is godfather to all three of his children, said he was willing to take a paternity test to establish whether or not he is the father of 11-year-old Paris.
But People magazine, citing sources close to Jackson's family, says Lester has never claimed to be Paris's father.
The sources did, however, acknowledge Lester had donated sperm to Jackson, who died on June 25 aged 50.
"They twisted his words around. He's not claiming to be the father of Paris Jackson," one source told the magazine.
Jackson family attorney Londell McMillan also downplayed the tabloid report, saying "these are just merely claims with no legal standing whatsoever."
According to Mr McMillan, the probate court has had no reason to go against its finding that Jackson was the father to Paris, Prince Michael, 12, and Prince Michael II, seven, also known as Blanket.
The birth mother of the two eldest children is former nurse Debbie Rowe. The youngest was conceived by a surrogate whose identity has not yet been revealed.
Lester "has known Michael [Jackson] for many years and his children play with Michael's children," longtime Jackson family associate and former attorney Brian Oxman told People, adding that Lester has never before hinted he was Paris' father.
Marc Schaffel, another Jackson family associate, said the singer made Lester godfather to all three of his children at a small, private ceremony in October 2003.

The whole wacko Jacko saga just gets more twisted as it goes along.

I have no problem with the fact that he was a wealthy eccentric, but he should have left kids out of his nutty lifestyle.

Of cause Lester's not her dad, you've just got to look at her to see she's as black as Wacko.

Those poor kids will never be able to live a normal kiddy life. Sheez, they have just lost their daddy and even though he was weird - he was their dad.... and from what i have read or seen on TV he was a great dad. Whether biological or not. And now all the has beens are jumping out of the woodwork..... to cash in. Makes me wanna puke.

This. Jackson manages to be even more annoying dead than he was alive.

This makes more sense than anything I've heard so far. I mentioned back when he first died that the features of these kids faces were too much like Jackson's but his were artificially created.
I was very curious whether or not they had altered the children's features to match his Slim nose, slim cleft chin, etc. which I would have considered child abuse if that was the case besides just being OTT strange.

But this chap has the same sort of features unlike the dermatologist so the pieces fit..Besides the dermatologist is a strange looking guy and not likely Jackson (who was trying to make himself look more aesthetically pleasing in his own mind) would have wanted him to father them considering their mother is no looker either..

Not that I really care but what is the official Camp Jackson line as to why MJ didn't use his own..err... stuff for the IVF?

yep....more commonly referred to as "selective breeding" or human engineering.. Only not in the complete DNA sequencing sense in this case..

Yeah haven't heard that yet, there is that rumor about his being a eunuch to preserve his high voice..
