The women are free on $US200 cash bails.

My old manager told us about what she would do if her boyfriend or any other man ever laid a finger on her (one of her old boyfriends was a racist skinhead shelf-stacker... perhaps he's an ajarn now): super-glue their penis to the top sheet of the bed while they were sleeping. She went into great detail about this plan of hers. I don't know what that says about her (or her choice in men, if she was worried about being battered by her current boyfriend) but I can't really fault her on it.

^^$200 cash bail? That ain't a whole lot of cash. Interesting that the ladies teamed up with the wife to exact their revenge, as well. Let bygones be bygones, I suppose...

Even if he did agree to be tied up originally, it becomes an assault once he requests to be freed and that request is denied against his wishes.
The further sexual assault that occurred against his wishes is a pretty serious charge in any country.

Its a bit like a woman saying NO just before her partner is about to climax. If he continues, it becomes rape, all be it with some mitigating circumstances.
The biggest thing in the severity of the crime in criminal law is "intent". The intent of these women was clearly to sexually assault the bloke. According to the article in the opening post the women in fact conspired with intent to comit an act of sexual assault on their victim. Which could also bring in some other charges. Thier defence of being deceived lovers is most unlikely to be considered as justifiable.

Will be interesting to see how this case pans out.
