Operating Instuctions that defy belief
I know a lot of companies are afraid of being sued by consumers these day but are there really people this stupid out there. These are some genuine instructions placed on products.
On a hair dryer from Myers: "Do not use while sleeping".
On a Bag of chips: "You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside!"
On a bar of Parmolive soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap."
On a frozen dinner: "Serving suggestion: Defrost."
On a Nanna's Tiramisu dessert (PRINTED ON THE BOTTOM) : Do not turn upside down."
On a Mark and Spencers Bread Pudding: Product will be hot after heating."
On a box for a K-Mart iron: Do not iron clothes on body."
On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or opperate heavy machinery after taking this medication."
On Nytol sleeping aid: Warning: May cause drowiness.
On a brand of Christmas lights: "For indoor and outdoor use only."
On a Japanese food processor: " Not to be used for other uses."
On Nobby's nuts: "Warning: contains nuts"
On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions: open packet, eat nuts."
On a child's Superman costume: "Wearing this costume does not enable you to fly."
On a Swedish chainsaw; "Do not attempt to stop with your hands or genitals."
