how wonderful to hear of your great love and newfound happiness here in Thailand.
The fact you have already seen your rose on two different occations shows all of us here the sencerety of the relationship and the young girls intentions.
Dont listen to the cold hearted men in Teakdoor
    I hear you ,,,,,,,,, I feel you
nobody but you can understand the special wonderful relationship you are
experiencing now, how pure and clean and truthfull you sweetest of sweets are
    love with sugar on top
    for the gods
    You lucky you
As you know, my new friend, I am all about love, and I do cheerish that specilal kind of love we find here in the land of love

The land of true love and happyness
That special love that connects young an old, rich and poor
man, girls and even boys playing girls, isnt that just grand
no limitation as in our western societies
even grandfathers are allowed to play
and they play, oh yes they do
playing playing smiling bumping around singing boom boom
to see the older generation finding their youth again,,water in my eyes
and they play, Im sure they dont forget
they will play with your rose
every night,,, taking good care of your sweet rose
while youre away.....schhhh remember only happy thoughs
remember we all take care of eachother in thailand
And we share so willingly our happy moments
    also group happiness

I am happy for your love
charish it in the deepest chambers of your heart
like Im sure your blossom will do as well
remember to show her love and dedication while gone
moneygram or the yellow charity boxes will do just fiiiiiiiine
just to show your good intentions

    good riddens
    good luck
love, my brother from my unknown mother

Question--Has my life gone wrong if I end up living in Thailand? Answer-- YES. But don't let that stop you! It's quite pleasant living here.
I agree with the Yes part at least. Thailand is the land of misfits. If you come here you can have fun with all the other misfits but is that what you want?

The Thais and ChineseThais are low class people for the most part. Not one living Thai here is really working towards any greater goal. Selfishness rules the land. I don't mean there aren't good people here because there are but most of these people are poor, weak, or inept. Those who should be leading and developing are too busy protecting their assets and opportunities. I just met a Japanese girl visiting Thailand this weekend who noted that Thailand is a lot like North Korea.

If you have morals or values leave them at the door. Here things are different. Just stepping on Thai soil means that you are willing to give up freedom of speech and other values which you probably hold. It only goes downhill from there. Be prepared to suck the rotten toenails of the wealthy and powerful along with the rest of the Thai masses. So stick out your tongue and lick your lips because you will suck those nasty fungus-infested toenails and live in the stink of the wealthy powerful feet you must kiss each morning in Thailand as you go about your daily routine.

Which makes it such an awesome vacation destination for affluent single guys (and, even, impoverished Brit footie afficionados, I guess) - but I agree, not necessarily a great place to call 'home' (there are a precious few exceptions of guys who were able to set themselves up properly, but they are probably less than the fingers on one hand).

I like living in the World/West. I like earning my money in the World/West. I like vacationing in Thailand. Easy.

^ Not sure about you, but my little slice of the west is starting to resemble a third world country... If you live in Florida, then your slice of the west has resembled Cuba since the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966...

Thailand is all about quantity, nil quality. Never met someone that came to Thailand because they wanted to raise their 'long term happiness' from high to very high. More like from fuckin unhappy to drunk-and-laid.

Thailand doesn't attract happy, successful people. Period. There's nothing here for happy, successful people. And I'd include expats on a package in that as well. If they were really good at what they do they would surely be used in a more lucrative position elsewhere.

Girlfriend.....'no hun, 5 minutes either way no matter me'

^^ Like a rat to a piece of bait - this could actually be fun, if this guy weren't so predictable.

Yeah, but the difference is that while you may complain about the influx of immigrants, at the end of the day it is NOT Cuba, just like California and New Mexico are NOT Mexico, etc... You'd still be in the United States, and you still have infinitely more opportunities if you are intelligent.

Don't think so. I know someone who knows Nawty, as in offline in the real world.

And if he's to be believed, and there's no reason not to, then FlyFree's about as far from the truth of the matter as you can get.

OP, it sounds like your job is quite well paid. If you save a fair fit of money each month then you can justify living here financially and when the job ends walk away from Thailand with savings and experiences. What more do you want?
