    Question How brave/pussy are you?

I recently got a red from KW for basically saying that suicide is not a 'cowards way out' and that it takes a hell of a lot of guts to take your own life, and he sent me a red accompanied with some brief unintelligible gibberish, in this case 'j,hb'

    Here's the red.

...And here's the post which inspired it.

KW, I don't think you would have the guts to kill yourself so please have more respect for the dead. I can imagine you bottling out and putting some moisturizer on your face, actually I can't beat you with that stick anymore because I myself have started using Vaseline Intensive Care with aloe vera, since I turned 35 - because we do need to take care of ourselves.

Anyway, I don't think you would be man enough to do THIS.

Sorry, but I agree with KW. In the vast majority of cases, suicide is running away from a problem or problems. Almost a definition of "cowardice" I would say.

^^Doesn't KW red you for everything anyway? I can't see the cause for the fuss.

That still doesn't explain the cryptic "jh, b", however...

See the little green square under your post-count? If you click on the little scales of justice underneath it you can send people "green" if you liked the post or want to thank them for helping you or "red" if you disagree with them or just want to be rude. If you got to User CP at the top of any page and click on User Control Panel in the drop-down you can see you red and green reputation points.

That's my take on it (also a newbie), I still haven't figured what they are actually for though.

That's an oxymoron if ever I heard one.

I suppose accidental suicide would be if you held a pistol to your head, started to squeeze the trigger, suddenly thought "No I don't want to die", sneezed, and blew your head off.

But here in lies the cowardice part, as that is what the open forum is for..To do it covertly displays a serious lack of back bone IMO..I seldom ever do it unless it's return favoritism or the post is completely whack and I don't mean in a silly way but in an antagonistic or malicious way which is so common here by the judgmental cronies..

Generally I just don't send anything if I don't agree or even if it is somewhat controversial as a persons opinion is still relevant even if I don't agree, I resist slamming them with personal attacks either openly nor covertly through repo even though the converse is seldom practiced where I'm concerned.....

How predictable?? See, more fine displays of complete bollocks behavior... I mean seriously, these posts instigated such vitriol?? Completely worthless fucktard he is.. and somehow he thinks that everyone has the first clue what his rambling nonsensical acronyms are supposed to stand for or even care??

Just FYI I have this retard on ignore but predictable as always knew he was going to send one so I intentionally looked at my repo value and sure enough like my regular daily dump here he is..
The KP repo was completely unexpected though but I guess that was an oversight on my part as nothing is apparently beyond his childish tantrums..

I did some cave diving for a while in my younger days, but stopped after a very close call while exploring a submerged cave under a glacier in Northern Norway.

That little incident probably qualifies as the both the bravest and stupidest thing I have ever done.

Yeh. Real men don't use them girly bits of twirly elastic when bungee jumping. We use our heads as a stopper and our necks as the shock absorber.

Yeah I jumped out of a plane too and that was easier because I had a big man strapped behind me, it was the same company that Ricky Martin used, I don't have this on video though.

The bungee jump, well looking at the video I was a bit of a pussy shuffling up to the platform but at least I did it, unlike the bloke twice my size who turned back and got booed and didn't get a refund.

I have a terrible fear of heights, there is no fucking way I would jump out of a plane or bungee jump. Even looking at pictures taken from a height makes my feet get pins and needles and my heart race.

Hell, when I worked on cruise ships I even used to get jittery when the captain would do his daily briefing and announce the water depth underneath the ship. The again I am a bit OCD about lots of things, but Saeng Som takes the edge off most of it.

I'm with those that say it is neither cowardly or brave, generally. The vast majority of people who commit suicide are diagnosably mentally ill, so i think it goes beyond the idea of just not being able to face up to some problems, in most cases.

I share Scampy's disdain for the thoughtless and overused cliche trotted out by Britmaveric, as if every suicide is a result of this failing. It's just a way for normal people to condemn an action they find distressing by applying one of the ultimate insults, in terms of human weaknesses, that they can to those who might consider or carry out such an act.

Obviously, people who are terminally ill are a different kettle of fish, neither cowardly or brave, but very understandable.
