Yes, absolutely. We have those for 100 meters a stretch in Thonglor, actually, on most parts of the soi, although one runs into the usual food vendor mazes, etc. As I always tell people, you can tell Thonglor is a classy part of BKK because there is only a slight chance you'll be clobbered by a motorbike while strolling down the sidewalk.

-Underground utilities along the main roads
-Everybody should start washing down those ugly black suds (on their house/building)….scrub it…so disgraced REAllY!!!!
-Get rid of the open sewer system along the road…STINK!!!
-Do something with the canals and waterways….stricter laws and fines
-Start beautiful-ing the streets, esp the main thoroughfares
with trees and set aside areas for public parks and openspace, so we all can "breath”....hell-lo
    And
Those farangs in Thailand that lost money to many bargirls due to their dumbness & stupidity…should be lined up and shot!!!…..otherwise STOP your moaning, goaning, & complaining!! No one wants to hear about it....pathetic really!!!

Err…those are just a few ideas I can think of,…for now

A name for the Thais as a race which they can debate amongst themselves as to weather it is racist or not, and equivalent of 'farang'.

I reckon we should call them Jigaboos.

"Bring in the Chinese"? News flash- they're already here. As bad as the air is here, and the crowding, I'd rather live in Bangkok than any major Chinese city. Unless you count Honkers, and the pollution is getting pretty bad there, too.

    What about a Chirpodist.

Don't appear to have em in Pattaya, or do the Thai's wear there hard skin
    down by wearing no footware?

The country probably only panders to the needs of those who have a foot fetish!

    Any opinions?

First you have to find the asshole. In Thailand's case I think that would be Pattaya.

I live a little closer to the other two Sky Train stops, sorry, nighttime entertainment venues that are absolutely insignificant in terms of the economy of Thailand or even of Bangkok.

    Thought of another

A sensible rate of taxation on (French) red wine.

I hate that it is so expensive here!
