| A question for the oold hands. Now, I'm pretty ambivalent about the pros and cons of living in LOS. I like it, I like her, she likes it, so all's good. One small wart on the otherwise pristine visage of our existence has occurred which perplexes me. I'd be interested to know what you'd do. What I can do, or what we could do. The situation is thus; Over a week ago the old boy across the road offered us a piece of land. We looked, we said 'yes". A number of meetings were had over the week twixt my partner and the old boy and his family. Everything OK, tickety boo, 100%. Land has chanoot (spelling) which is sitting on my desk right now. All the family have committed to the sale, money is under my mattress, we're good to go. Yesterday afternoon a daughter, the oldest, rocks up from BKK. This afternoon at 17.00 the whole deal is off 'cos the daughter from BKK. said "No". Mai pen rai, but ! Is there anything we could do about it? Your thoughts, offerings and opinions will be read. pip pip
