What use is [at][at][at][at]? Why can't the swear filter at least give us a word? I nominate clam - it's not offensive, it has four letters and it starts with a c. In Thai, it almost works too.

Come on, DD, fix it. Don't be a clam.

"fanny" would be better because it would confuse all the seppos and they won't know what we are calling them

Venturalaw – I must say with some respect you do very much come over as being quite naive and it’s more than curious to me. I’m not doubting that you are a lawyer, but I’m surprised to know that when I read your posts in this thread. At some time (and there is always a time reached) after being admitted as a lawyer, that person’s wide eyes and bushy tail start to dim and realities start to set in. Given your stated legal experience, you still write your posts as one who is in shock of the realities as opposed to one who could say that they were “surprised” by something. I would agree if I was to predict a response from you that being a reality is not to result in acceptance – its just that your writing style seems....curious. I’m not looking for a fight or an argument, just curious on your response for which I do not have any predetermined response that I’m expecting.

As for TV, well I’ve had my run in with a mod recently with the effect that I can no longer post (put on mod watch where my posts never see the light of day). So be it, I’m indifferent to the entire thing and if the admin want to blindly support their mod – so be it too. What set it off is that once in a while I see posts that are just plain wrong. I don’t particularly care in correcting that poster, but I do once in a while have a concern that someone reading it considers it to be correct information and act on it. On this occasion subsequent replies to the mod’s subsequent posts saw my posts being deleted by the same mod notwithstanding that the posts were on topic and provided (correct) information (while pointing out errors in her posts) – but the mod in question considered them to be argumentative and offensive. That is something which I’m in disagreement with and believe that she got her tits in a twist because she had egg on her face and just used a few broad accusations to support her actions in deleting posts which were plainly embarrassing to her. As one poster here said, it may seem like a he said/she said argument, but hopefully the smart reader will question what they have read rather than blindly believing what someone has posted because they come across as knowing what they are talking about. Unfortunately on this occasion, the OP lost some of the arguments and information on which to base an informed decision.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be half surprised if someone from TV read this and banned me as a result – but.....so be it. The moderation on TV is very questionable from my observations and I’m not basing that on my little incident – something I was already aware of from reading the forum as a “guest”. My mistake was to give a rats arse on whether the information posted was correct or not and not to be intimidated by a mod. At the end of the day, I’m still wondering what TV “think” they have gained from all of this...

Hmmm......is "ass" more or less derogatory than [at][at][at][at]?

Your writing style is just as perplexing to me. I have no idea what you are talking about or 'expecting'.

he has got ME totally confused as well.
imagine being surprised by getting a response which is not the "predetermined response that you are expected."
does it mean that one should only respond to his posts in a predetirmined and expected manner? and if he knew what your reply was supposed to be, then why the fuck did he elicit a response in the first place????
