Here I sit sopping wet as the thunder cracks outside, a welcome change to the dry season that had only really just begun.

Kinda interesting that we can't distinguish the 'hot/dry' from the rainy season - last couple of years. Seems like it's been a melding 7 out of the last 10 years. I love the first evening thunder and lightening shows. Fabulous!
I enjoy the evening rain and thunder storms too. Especially when I am indoors either at home or the pub. They're great!
I just hate those little freaky ones that kick off in the mornings just as you're about to leave for work. Really fook up my day those ones do!
8 or so years ago the season start dates could be defined within a week - now there just to be no pattern to 'em!
Lucky they don't have a rainy season in the USA or else all those tent city beggars would be getting washed out.
Lucky bastards living in a tent actually. Just like being on holiday every day.

And the timing too. Used to kick off about 5:30pm every evening here in Bangers, last until about 7pm. Then that was that done with for the night.

We're getting the type of daytime thunderstorm activity that reminds one of May, evening rain as well.....remember the last two {pre-weeks} Songkrans? The 'Rainy Season' came on before the holiday. Mid-March.
Heavy showers, thunder for the last week or so in Buriram. Never seen rain in March before. Nice though, garden likes it too.
I'm up near Baldrick near the Chaeng Wattana Road, the sun is out now and it's gonna be all humid and stuff. :(Quote:

Have to start preparing the rain chutes for collection.
It's raining again, my laundry has been in the machines for six hours now - at least it's Thailand so no one will nick my Barry Rolland shirts.
Well Pak Chong has had rain and thunderstorms for some weeks now, in the day but rarely at night....
Who said no one will nick ya barry roland shirts???? I could do with a nice new shirt for the coming school year
:doglol:Barry Roland indeed....
Just stopped raining in the Silom area and is now bloody hot. Just got off the skytrain and missed the lot. The old Mikes burgers building is on fire btw.
Absolutely pissing it down in Petchabun. Guess who's drains blocked where all the water comes in to?
Well the sun's out now but I face a gamble.
Tumble or hang?
First rain in Udon, just a welcome sprinkle so far but lots of thunder rolling in the distance, although That may be just Marmite farting.
Big fire? Isn't that the chinese restaurant now?Quote:

I could handle some intermittent rain throughout the year.
This six month deluge followed by six months without a drop is really crap.
My Klongs flowing like a beauty at the moment and the rapids under the bridge is giving off a great healthy roar.
Just love to listen to the sound of water flowing over those rocks and whilst I am lying in bed. :)
