    Are these you happiest times?

Have the happiest days of your life passed already or are you in them now? Or are they still to come?

I would say I'm currently enjoying the happiest days of my life right now. People usually point to the halcyon days of youth as their happiest times, but in my case anyway, "youth is wasted on the young".
In my early 40's and have good health physically and financially. Enjoying life and most of the people involved in it. I have good friends, family, and spouse.
I consider myself very lucky, tbh.

I believe mine are still to come, once the hard work and fixing up of a financially stable future are completed and I can enjoy the fruits of my labour.

That's not to say I am not having happy times right now.

God knows when mine were. My twenties, I guess. Or early thirties. Certainly not now and I don't expect them in the future.

Wouldn't it be easier just to post the picture of Scampy in his skivvies rather than make him go all the way to Pranburi to do it again?

Bloody hell, for a pack of fags, Scampy'd post the pic himself.

The start of a new chapter in my life might be forthcoming in the very near future which could see me and my family very happy, contented and taken care of for the next 15-20 years.

Not a career change but a new page in that career!

Sorry NR but the last time I was drinking with Dalts he could hardly take care of himself.

What, was it a Tarzan and Jane type of recovery..........over his shoulder type of rescue?

Dalts? Where is that muklukker? Limited posting at base mebbe.

I'm always content now, and that's how I like to be. Sometimes more content, sometimes less, but I learned how to control the effect of outside influences on me. It's the best way. I always feel more content when I do things for others, less content when I see folks getting angry over nothing or abusing others. Happiness is for kids -- nice surprises, 100% on a test, a new puppy...but, they also get hit hard by sadness and heartache -- bullying at school, a grounding for some dumb mistake, a fight with a friend. Too many highs and lows! Your emotions swing up and down like a yo-yo. Too much stress for me.

Yes, but his wife was there so he had to behave himself.

I consider myself to be very blessed, professional job, travel every ten weeks, financially and physically sound, open minded and always up for something new.

If I ever start to think negative thoughts I give myself a good kick up the arse and give myself a good wack on the slug with a hammer.

I call the hammer my attitude adjuster and best friend as I never fok with it.

Happy days are here to stay.

Naah, Dalts may be a big bugger, but even he couldn't sling me over his shoulder.
