How much is a dead american worth? 50 dead Iraquies? More? Less?

yep, wise choice, nor would I... it's that pride we have that drives us to do that, that you lack, that really grates you the most.. the word you're searching for is 'envy'....Originally Posted by filch

your right! that's why we diligently and courageously enforced international law against those who instigated the actions against us and the world and seek them out in whatever cave they hide..Originally Posted by Dan

so now you're justifying the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait too?? poor Iraq Saddam and his ilk were just living in abject poverty!!!Originally Posted by Dan
and you have the brass to claim we have no education?? I guess it's just convenient for you to discount the world opinion on their unlawful invasion of Kuwait as it serves to bolster your false perspectives..Originally Posted by Dan
this is the only accurate thing you've stated since you began posting..Originally Posted by Dan
not substantiated facts but still who's fault is this? I'll answer for you since your intellectually challenged.. The answer...Saddam Hussein..... when you have 40,000 troops on your border even before you're getting the shit bombed out of you and still act like a prick railing against WORLD OPINION you get what you deserve and unfortunately innocents of YOUR country are going to get harmed that's why actions like his should be seriously considered if you are a responsible and caring leader..Originally Posted by Dan

I'd also like to add the word cock after the word pedantic when adressing you, would you mind?
I don't think it can be Dino, his spelling is poor, but by Dino's standards he's a fucking genius.

You're right. I forgot about that. Poor old Dingo, sorry Dino, he could barely string a sentence together and his spelling was vary bad.
so basically your saying that because Saddam would not listen to world (american) opinion, those innocents deserved to die??Originally Posted by DrivingForce

I'm British as well, and certainly don't envy you lot. I only feel pity for all the arrogant type of Yanks that only self beat their own chests, and saying how great they are. Puts the majority of Americans in a bad light.
Well, about half of them.Originally Posted by Propagator
Apologies for dragging up something from pg 2, but are you suggesting, Jeffects, that the 'killing fields' in Cambodia and Pol Pot's regime were a direct result of the US not winning the Vietnam war? Or, sorry, 'quitting' to use your words? Do you have any evidence to support that, had the US 'not have quit', they would have somehow stopped Pol Pot's rise to power & the genocide that followed?Originally Posted by Jeffects
Yes, cringing is a good word for it... It's bad enough I have to witness 'Ugly Americans' on my travels, but I have to put up with this sort of ignorance on a daily basis here in the states... This is part of the reason I want out soooo badly... Ignorant twats whose perception of reality is soooo warped they can't tell the difference between shite and shinola...
BTW, who turned Jeffy green... Would have to be someone with a ton of repo... Tex perhaps??? Sounds about right as it appears that Jeffy is either a multi-nick or just another neo-con facist arse-wipe...

Gee, Driving force is not ashamed of who he is. I knew eventually someone with a brain and some guts would show up. If any of you would like to take 3 minutes to veiw this from ABC News. (For those of you who don't know it is one of the more liberal news source here) view this link. We're leaving because our job there is nearly completed.

Saddam was already screwed by the time dubya invaded. Sanctions had brought him down to his knees, and all that was left of him was a lot of hot air. He didn't let the weapons inspectors in at times because he was acting tough - but that's all - acting. US intelligence (i know there is such a thing) really foked up on the WMD thing - well, that's what we are led to believe anyway as the USA isn't supposed to invade just because it wants oil.
So the invasion went ahead, and in a war against islamic exremists, the only non-islamic extremist country in the region has had the crap blown out of it, which has in turn invented many home grown extremists willing to kill any infidels and join the 'fight', aswell as letting in bands of foreign terrorists into a country which beforehand had no connectioins to al-quaida.
Ok, you killed Sadam for gassing kurds in the 1980's, but it has cost almost a million lives - how can you justify that?
To answer your question Jeff, i would say NO. The war in Iraq has not been a success, the world is NOT better off because of it, and YES it was a mistake to go there in the first place.
^ a mistake and illegal, possibly prosecutable under the Hague, maybe when Bush and Blair are dead, they will be judged postmortem on their war crimes
