What's the difference between a drinker and an alcoholic ???
What's the difference between a drinker and an alcoholic ???
I guess a drinker suffers no ill effects when they stop drinking.
In London a drinker ( aprivate club or bar ) is where Alcoholics go!
In my opinion as barely reformed character I notice from younger madder unmarried topers
Alcos are always losing gfs keys atm cards pin numbers friends and of course brain cells but maybe they are on loan to the bar keepers
Oscar of course stated
Work is the curse of the drinking classes
I found babys wives and Thai mother in law pretty (pretty soberin' that is)
I thought I was an alcoholic until I meet a few others here in LOS.
I am only a light weight compared to them and never touch alcohol unless I am in the right situation to do so.
That is away from home and the children, with a few friends and or in a socially acceptable environment like a bar or beer garden.
Then all hell breaks loose!
Oh yes, knowing when and being able to stop makes a hell of a difference.
THE DIFFERENT IS : an alcoholic join meetings and talk about their problems (AA)
but there isn't Anonymous-Drinkers-meetings... only on bars, but our problems is to escape from the wife
hehe
cheers mates
98% of drinkers don't know they are alcoholics
