The weather here in the BKK area has been cooler the past few days. The only problem is the air pollution has shot up. Every morning I wake up to the smell of burning plastic.

Wasn't really enjoying the old job... long hours, unrewarding work, etc. With the current economic downturn, my old company is probably going to start laying people off later in the year anyway. I probably wouldn't have been on the chopping block but one never knows. I've been thinking of taking a break from the LOS to spend some time back home with family, so this seemed like a good time to go.

Forgot to mention: So far, no new employment. I have a couple of weeks off. Probably won't start to panic until around Songkran.

I have been "redded" by Marmite for this post!! It appears he goes to bed early up country and did not stay up to watch the game. He was trying not to hear the result until the replay.

Not too bad...

Been for a haircut which cost 70 baht, then bought a load of dried fish and squids for the upcoming trip to the sticks to rough it with the in-laws for a couple of nights...

Just going to have some coffee then cycle my bike along to the shop in Naklua to sort out the gears... I reckon the caffeine helps with the exercise.
