Seen it done it have the t-shirt and was glad to get away. 3 years between Adelaide, Perth and Alice. Only Alice got me going, amazing scenery, Mataranka springs up the road towards Darwin, regular trips to Ayers rock, stayed at the Sheraton Yulara for half price each time as thay had a deal with my employer, fantastic.

You're alright Loy Toy, quite unlike most Ozzies I met, infact the only friendships I made were with Kiws who have cooler heads (think it's the European style climate that agrees with them) All that pommy bastard crap got on my nerves after a while. Abos were fine in Alice too, Willy Bray the local chief loved us because we weren't Aussies and used to bring me bags of grass into my work placeWomen were tasty too though prone to plumpness around the bum area as I recall. Loved up poms they did for our charm, as opposed to the Ozzie drongo, daggy un-couthness and crassness.

I have never seen bad instances of Pommy bashing or sledging in Australia.

I have heard the Balmy Army singing "You all live in a convict colony, a convict colony, a convict colony" out at the SCG and whilst they were getting their arses whipped in the cricket.

Quite hilarious really and not one Australian took offence to it.

Maybe we felt a bit sorry for them as certainly they had no cricket songs to sing or team to support!

Agree. The barmy army were a good crowd at the SCG last time I was there. Being equally deferential about their chances as well as enjoying a bit of good natured banter.
