I Hate Cats..but enough is enough!

A bit pissed off tonight, my normally tame dogs for whatever reason decided to have a go at one of our "stray" cats, they have never "gone for it" real so to speak before, only growling and the usual show of "who's boss" A bit of barking just to scare the cats,

And to be honest, the cats usually win.

However, today seemed a bit different, the two dogs ripped one of the cats apart, and then tried to eat it's two kittens, they can' be more than a week old..fuck...so tonight, the mother cat dies an agonizing death, I try to feed the babies with a syringe full of milk, No. 1 Dies, like from shock...and within 2 minutes the other one has kicked the bucket too...the dogs...seem top be in "hiding"..what the fuck would change them to turn like this?

I am a bit pissed at digging holes for dead animals, it kind of gets to you, it certainly has affected my son...

Now the missus wants to shoot the dogs, with a fucking plastic kids BB gun...how they will laugh!

Funny how the Thais can change their view on life!

I have offered to REALLY kill it, but she disagrees...only whack it with a BB gun..what is the point?

My dogs keep the cats clear of our property but in the event of them cornering the cat I reckon the cat would win.

What breed of dogs do you have miggins?

Probably only doing what they were breed to do!

Sorry about the cats even though I would never have one.

Bring your dogs by my place, I would love for the cats to get gone or even die, stincking fricken things, gunny sack and a few bricks in a pond sounds like a good place for cats.

This is of course, UNLESS you keep your own damn pets in YOUR house. They aren't my pets, and I damn sure don't want them shitting or spraying around my place. This goes as well for dogs too.

seems you have soi dogs as pets,

kill them immediately, they are trash, all stray dogs in this country should be destroyed, they are dangerous

poor little cats, what kind of milk were you trying to give them ?

I think thats a bit harsh mate.

If miggins dogs are bred fighting or hunting dogs they have this instinct built in.

In future he should make sure the dogs are properly retained on his property and if anyone or anything enters then so be it.

You are probably thinking along the lines (as I have) once they have performed that first kill they very likely will do it again.

Interesting to hear what November Rain's experiences have been and in similar situations.

NR doesn't want to hear what I think about soi dogs for sure, they are the #1 problem with Thais as they can't deal with grown up pets, fine as a puppy or kitten, but then push them off when they are grown and expect the rest of society to take care of the bastards.

Just be thankful that it was a cat that your two dogs decided to play tug-o-war with, rather that your or your neighbour's kids. Also take steps to ensure that there isn't a next time when it could be..

I have only 2 Dogs, one is a half breed Dalmatian, the other is a stray Thai Dog that decided to make this his home!He listens to no one and answers to no one..what can you do?

Neither of them have been aggresive before, they only chase the cats and want to play...but today, they ripped the cat apart!

My Son, and he is only 7, can hit the dog, grab thje dog, whatever, and they never try to bite! I am reaqlly surprised!

I Know, but the wife doesn't want any killing here..shit I was going to drown the two kittens tonight, (when she was asleep) but they would rather the poor fuckers died a slow death from starvation than kiill them quick!

I was all for a bucket of warm water....but Jesus, not a Thai, they would rather leave it to freeze to death, and starve than to kill it quickly!..it's beyond me!

Sad to say but NR would rather nurse a dog at GREAT expense to save it, when it would be more logical to cull the sick and save more of the at least SEMI healthy ones. SAD Sorry NR but it's true. You have to learn when to let go.

Not the best way to let kids treat dogs. What happens when he hits the dog and it bites back?

<thats my old dog, killed every cat that came into our house, outside the house he took no notice of any animal or person at all, ie none at all, wouldn't even bother sniffing them unless we stopped to talk to them.

    Funny though,
I have the missus, and my son sitting in the bedroom trying to "pop" the dogs with plastic "BBs" that the dogs don't even feel! (and hear them curse...) But, when I offer real "retribution" with a 12 gauge, they seem somewhat lacking!

In my opinion, either shoot the fucker or not, don't piss around!...maybe I need to dangle the dead baby cats under her nose for a more "definitive" answer! Anyway, enough tonight, I am a bit pissed at having to bury the cat and it's klittens (amazing how quickly they get Rigfgor)

Stiff as a board in less than two hours!

They go floppy again after a couple more hours if you want to play with or cuddle them.

Dont bury the cats on your property as the dogs will dig them back up.

That's if your family have not killed the dogs already and with the BB gun.

We don't have dogs, nor will we. Personally, we find dogs as a miserable creature. Unkempt, to dependent, etc. As most of us have suffered from the 'dogs barking all night' syndrome at one time or another, we've been fortunate. Just a few dogs around...and most don't stir it up here. If we want a dog's company, we just need to call those around. For watch animals....we have geese.
