How would one go about improving ones score?

Does one have to be more pleasant to the other paupers?

Obviously you need a higher ratio of quality posts, so that you recieve more reputation/post - any post that doesn't get a greeny is going to lower your score and a red (like you gave me yesterday) is an utter disaster.

Also you need popular threads, starting silly threads that recieve very few replies is going to take you down a notch - try thinking about the readership and what they want to respond to.

Absolutely not, I'm guessing that Smeg will be one of the top scorers, but not sure he'll be into this kind of "popularity" contest!

I just ran the figures on Smeg through the computer and I've come up with a final rating around 76.1.

Well my rating was 78.6, but that came from an all round good performance (mostly gaining plenty of green for outstandingly witty posts) - Smeg could be a contender, but he needs to learn how to get people to give him more green - there's plenty who would love to join sides with him, but he's a loner and doesn't want any lapdogs to do his dirty work, whilst like this he will always be a in the top half, but won't have a chance to make it into the uper echelons of posters who vie for the title - Champion of Teakdoor!

It seems the rating system works, just need a few more people to calculate theirs and we could put up some sort of league table.

top idea - we could get premiership, League 1, 2 etc with promotion and relegation battles going on on a weekly basis
